Congrats to all LIC AGENTS who set their effective sales goals for 2017 -18. Keep doing your work every day without failure and you will achieve your goals in the end.

Do we really have to wait till the year end to taste success, What if we could have victories, success, achievements through out the financial year.

Success is sweet, whether small or big,  It is even more sweeter if we get it every time. With short term goals you can taste victory at regular intervals and keep energized for lifting the bigger cup

Firstly, Breakdown your effective goals in LONG TERM & SHORT TERM.

A short-term goal is something you want to do in the near future. The near future can mean today, this week, this month.

A long-term goal is something you want to do further in the future. Long-term goals usually take 12 months or more to achieve. Long term goals are cumulative sum of your short term goals.

Its not, One against the other, Its one for the other.

WHY SHOULD WE HAVE BOTH?

Setting shorter term goals (i.e. what you need to do achieve this week, Today) can help break down a seemingly huge and faraway goal into more achievable simple steps. Short term goals can help keep you on the correct path and provide short term incentives and accomplishments and much needed motivation.

Long term goals will help stay focused, motivated and meaningful. Long term goal can help you overcome obstacles along the way.

HOW CAN LIC AGENTS ACHIEVE SUCCESS THROUGH OUT THE YEAR?

Setting goals, working on them and tracking them doesn't have to be a daunting task. We can make it as much fun and enjoyable as possible.

Break down your Yearly sales target into multiple smaller target, Choose to concentrate on selling policies that are a hit in the market, work out innovative plan combinations that will be viral, even setting an intangible  task of sharing your profile and business card via social media to at least 500 people in the month April can be a really short term goal but yield everlasting benefits.

Similarly short term goals for each month will keep you drip irrigated of success and keep energized through out the year.

You must have set your LONG TERM goal with your prospects by entering the yearly premium target, Its a great point to start your journey for 2017 - 18
